Stop Being the Noise
For those of you who know me, you are probably thinking, ‘what does she mean, stop being the noise? She’s the one who talks all the time!’… Well, that’s not the kind of noise I’m talking about. What I mean when I say “stop being the noise” is… stop getting in the way of what someone you know or love feels led to do. I know you love and/or care about this person, and you are concerned that he/she may not make the right decision, but you need to let him/her make the decision for him/herself. For an example I will use one of my children. My daughter has had some pretty big decisions to make with choosing a career path, a college, and a direction for her life. Is this my decision or her father’s? No, it is not. My daughter spends time with the Lord EVERY SINGLE DAY…without fail, she doesn’t miss it. Most of us let the business of life interrupt our quiet time with the Lord, but not her. She makes sure HE comes first, and I truly admire that about her. She does a bible study by herself every day, and more than once a day on occasion. Anyway, she is a child of God…God’s child…who am I to think that I could possibly know what’s better for her life than God does. I am certainly not all-knowing and wise, but God is!…and I trust that God has her attention…I know He does because I see it every
